“An Inconvenient Truth” is a show about environment by Al Gore who explains about the global warming issue. He talks about the causes, effects and facts about global warming to show how serious it is. The movie’s objective is to warn people and make them aware of the disasters that can be caused by global warming if no action was taken.
The main cause of the global warming is the increase of Carbon Dioxide (Co2) in the atmosphere of the Earth. This in return will increase the temperature all around the Earth. The abnormal heat will affect the So
uthern and Northern poles and will melt the ice which will increase the sea water level. It also affects the coral reefs which threaten many species of fish. People will be in danger from diseases that are caused by the rise in temperature.Several things contribute to cause global warming such as advanced technology and increase of population, which in turn increases the need for more technology. The bad effects of global warming are already obvious. In the last 14 years, 10 of them recorded as the hottest years of all time. The heat causes storms and melts the ice in the poles.
To conclude, this is more of a moral issue. Earth is our only home. If we don’t act now while we still have the chance, it will affect the future generations.
